You'll not see "Shutdown" in Start Menu anymore when you are connected to a workstation via Remote Desktop, the "Shutdown" option changes to "Disconnect". If you want to turn off the computer, hibernate it, or put it on stand-by, there are really more than one solution to get thing done Open Task Manager, from the main Menu and select your shutdown option under "Shutdown" menu.
